General

Terms and conditions relating to use of the site, including our privacy policy, can be found here.

Prices include VAT, where applicable. Delivery charges apply, as outlined below. All products are subject to availability. Goods are supplied for personal use only and are not to be sold or offered for re-sale.

We reserve the right to refuse to supply any person or company for any reason. We reserve the right to cancel an order for any reason. If we do, it will be at no cost to you. No contract exists until we have accepted payment.

How to Order On-line

Ordering on-line is simple:
  • Complete the order form and press "Continue".
  • Provided the details you have given are valid and correct, please check the order details and press "Submit" to submit the order.
  • If the details on the confirmation page are incorrect you may go back to the order form (press the "back" button on your browser) and correct them before pressing "Submit". You will have to re-enter any credit card details.
  • You will see a "Thank You" message. If you do not see this message, your order has not been placed.
  • If, at the confirmation stage, you change your mind, you should press the "Cancel" button.
  • Once your order has been placed, we will send you a confirmation e-mail.
  • If you have not provided payment details with your order, please send us this information as soon as possible. We cannot process your order without it.
  • You can check the status of your order at any time by e-mail (just reply to the confirmation e-mail) or by phone.
You can also order by phone (0845 193 0903) or fax (0871 433 5566). Please ensure that you have all the necessary information to hand.

We also accept payment by cheque. When ordering, select "cheque" as the payment method and send the cheque (in sterling, payable to "Oochi Ltd") to the address provided. Please allow seven days for clearance.

Delivery

We aim to dispatch goods within 48 hours of receipt of order. Where payment is made by cheque please allow a further seven days for clearance.

Bikes are delivered by courier, normally within 2 days of dispatch (allow extra time to outlying areas & overseas). Delivery in the event of no one being available for collection is at the discretion of the courier service. Accessories, where ordered separately, are sent via Royal Mail.

"Highlands & Islands" includes the following postcodes: KA27-28, KW, HS, IV, PA20-49, PA60-81, PH17-28, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order before it has been dispatched, please contact us immediately, quoting your order number (preferably by phone). Even if the goods have not been dispatched, you may be liable for the cost of delivery.

Returns

If, for whatever reason, you are unhappy with the items you have purchased, you may return them. Please contact us, in writing or by email, within 14 days of receipt and we will supply a return address. Returned items must be received, unopened and in their original condition, along with the original purchase receipt and reason for dissatisfaction. We will refund the purchase price of the returned goods within 14 days of receipt. Delivery charges cannot be refunded.

Damaged Goods

For bikes, a signature is required on delivery. If the box is badly damaged, you must either inform the courier, or do not accept the delivery. We cannot accept responsibility for damaged goods that have been signed for. For smaller items, please notify us within 7 days of receipt. We will supply a return address and instructions. For small damaged items, reasonable return postage costs will be reimbursed.

Guarantee

With a small amount of care, FirstBIKE will provide many years of good service, but is guaranteed free from manufacturing defects for two years from date of purchase. This does not include damage arising from improper use, excessive force, lack of maintenance or normal wear and tear. Your statutory rights are not affected.
